Manny Mota ha chiuso la carriera con .304 in media battuta, 1.149 hits e 458 RBI. La sua media battuta vita di .315 coi Dodgers a Los Angeles è seconda solo a quella di Mike Piazza. Il tutto in venti anni di carriera, dal 1962 al 1982. Non vi sembra molto? Apparentemente. 6) There is a lot of green grass out there and only eight fielders.
7) Get your head in the game. You never know when someone might need you.
8) Choke up on reality.
9) Keep your third eye on the ball.
10) Whatever you do in life, always make contact.
